The story of Jack and the Beanstalk is well known to most of us. In the context of Blue Bean Solutions, Jack represents the student who has not reached his academic potential and needs a big breakthrough. The beans represent different aspects of the coaching I will be doing, empowering the student to succeed at school. The bean in the backpack represents the tools that the student now has, along with all the other things in their backpack to be successful at school. These tools, when used well, will provide the success which student needs. The beans, when used correctly, germinate into a vine, which symbolizes a path to eventual success. The beanstalk provides a passage to climb to a new place that offers rewards that will hopefully change the trajectory of the student’s life. The climb is hard work—and yes, there are a few giants to overcome—but the end result is a treasure that will open up new opportunities for the student.
